MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis men's tennis team (9-2) swept a pair of non-conference matches from Jackson State (2-11), winning 4-0 in both contests.
Memphis did not drop a set in either match, with picking up two wins in the afternoon. Working around a 1 pm women's match against Jackson State, the Tigers got to utilize some of their depth, getting freshman in for two singles matches and and each in for a match at six. Manji won his match at six to clinch the Memphis victory in the second match, 6-0, 6-1.
Memphis remains at home and hosts #18 ranked Cornell, Sunday, at 11 am.
