Men’s Tennis Bounces Back With Sweep of San Diego State, 4-0

MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis men's tennis team (11-3) did not have much time to dwell on its 4-3 loss at Oklahoma State. The Tigers were back on the same courts again on Saturday, defeating San Diego State (5-6), 4-0, in a non-conference match-up.

Memphis started off with the doubles point victory, getting wins at one and two for the early lead. The team of and won their eighth straight doubles match to start the day, 6-1, then the number one pairing of and sealed the point with a 6-3 win at one.

Sophomore then snapped a two-match losing streak with a straight set win at four singles, 6-3, 6-3, to give Memphis an early 2-0 lead.
