MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis men's tennis team battled the elements and a stiff field at the Bobby Bayliss Invitational over the weekend. The three-day event gave the Tigers time to get in at least four singles matches apiece, while weather forced the cancellation of Saturday doubles.

Turner Voges and Felix Rauch both carded 3-1 weekends. Voges grabbed wins over opponents from Western Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana, with his lone loss coming to home-standing Brendon Kempin of Notre Dame, 7-6, 7-6. Rauch picked up wins over opponents from Notre Dame, Indiana and Wisconsin, with his lone loss being a 6-2, 6-3 loss to Guilleromo Cabrera of host Notre Dame.
