MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's soccer team collected its first conference victory of the season with a 3-2 win over UCF Saturday night. The Tigers improved to 7-4-1 overall and 1-1-1 in American Athletic Conference play.
"After going up 2-0, we couldn't have asked for a better start," said head coach Richard Mulrooney. "I was disappointed, however, how we finished the first half. I think we were more composed (in the second half). These conference games are tough. At the end of the day, the three points are the most important.
