MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Two Tigers have been added to the American Athletic Conference's weekly award list for the past week of play. Sam Ashton, senior forward on the Memphis men's soccer team, was named the American Athletic Conference's Offensive Player of the Week, while redshirt junior Chris Mikus was named to the Honor Roll.
Ashton earns the weekly accolade after a highlight-reel of offense in the 3-2 double-overtime win over No. 10/11 Xavier on Saturday. The forward scored all three goals for the Tigers, registering the first hat trick by a Memphis player since 2015.
