MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Strong pressure early paid off in the second as the University of Memphis men's soccer team cruised to a 4-0 victory over Belmont Friday evening. The Tigers scored all four goals in the second half to improve to 2-1-0 on the year.
"In the first half I thought Belmont did a good job of containing us," said head coach . "We made some adjustments at halftime and picked up our tempo a bit. I think the ball finally just bounced in where we got one and from there we gained confidence."
The goal scoring was ignited in the 48 minute as registered his first tally of the season.
