Men's golf in fifth place entering final round of Mason Rudolph Championship

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's golf team shot 2-over 286 Saturday in the second round of the Mason Rudolph Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Club and will enter Sunday's final round in fifth place, eight strokes behind leader, and host, Vanderbilt.

The Commodores, the nation's fourth-ranked team, fired a 15-under 269 Saturday to move up nine spots and into the lead, four strokes better than 20th-ranked Tennessee.

The Tigers were led by Bradley Bawden. He shot a 2-under 69 for a two-day total of 136, a total of 6-under par that puts him in a tie for fifth individually.
