MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After recording five three-pointers against Houston, Memphis guard Madison Griggs has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Against Houston, Griggs led the team with a season-high 17 points and was responsible for every three-pointer that the Tigers had on the board. She and four others lead the AAC with five three-pointers made this season.
"Sometimes we look for Madison to save us and against Houston, she did," said Memphis head coach Melissa McFerrin. "She was able to give us life throughout that game and I'm happy to see her getting back in her groove.
