CINCINNATI, Ohio – Senior forward Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu recorded her sixth double-double of the season scoring 17 points and grabbing 14 rebounds as Memphis defeats the Cincinnati Bearcats 61-52 in Fifth Third Arena on Wednesday evening. Memphis snapped a five-game losing streak and claimed its first conference victory of the season. The Tigers are now 3-7 overall and 1-4 in the American Athletic Conference.
"I thought our team was really committed to the game plan, we executed really well on offense and we moved the basketball," said Memphis head coach Melissa McFerrin.
