MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis men's basketball coach has announced the second addition for the 2017-18 roster with the signing of David Nickelberry to a National Letter of Intent (NLI).
Nickelberry, a native of Orlando, Florida, was named First Team Preseason All-State in Florida earlier this month. He is ranked No. 140 by Rivals, and No. 162 in the country by 247 sports.
In 2015-16 he averaged 16.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 3.1 steals per game, helping his Windermere Prep team to a 27-5 overall record, and a 10-0 mark in District 10, and the Class 3A State Championship.
