MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis men's tennis collected six wins on the second day of the ITA Regional Championships, hosted by the University of Tennessee.
Tiger duo and earned a spot in the quarterfinal round of doubles after retiring the tournament's 13-seeded squad from Kentucky. Pallares and Taylor will face Middle Tennessee's Tom Moonen and Chris Edge on Saturday.
In the main draw of singles play, junior collected a straight-set victory and Pallares claimed a three-set thriller to advance to the Round of 32 before both dropping their next matches.
In singles consolation, three Tigers posted wins on Day 2.
