DALLAS, Texas – After one of the most successful regular seasons in program history, the No. 18 Memphis men's tennis team turns its focus to the American Athletic Conference Championships.
The Tigers (17-4, 5-0) earned the No. 1 seed and a first round bye. Memphis will meet No. 8 seed Temple in the quarterfinal round on Friday at 9 a.m. The Owls opened tournament play by upending host SMU on Thursday.
"Our league has had four or five teams make the NCAA Tournament the last four or five years. It's a very deep conference with a lot of good teams," Head Coach Paul Goebel said of the field.
