MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis football team will load on to buses and prepare for an 'away' event when the team travels to Nashville for their second scrimmage of the spring, Saturday. Memphis will play a scrimmage at Father Ryan High School beginning between 3:00-3:30. The Memphis Alumni Association will host a pre-scrimmage tailgate beginning at 1:30 p.m. with free hot dogs and sodas.
"We were sitting around and thinking of what we can do to help prepare our guys," Norvell said when asked about the reasoning for adding the Nashville scrimmage to the 15-practice schedule.
