Memphis Football promotes David Glidden to WR coach, Brad Salem to TE coach

MEMPHIS — Memphis Football's David Glidden has been promoted to wide receivers coach and Brad Salem to tight ends coach, head coach Ryan Silverfield announced Thursday.

Glidden coached tight ends last season for the Tigers after spending the previous two years as a quality control analyst with the wide receivers. A 2015 Oklahoma State graduate, Glidden played four years for the Cowboys totaling 115 receptions for 1,655 yards and six touchdowns. He was an assistant coach at his alma mater, Mustang (Okla.) High School, before coming to Memphis in 2018.

"We are excited to announce that David Glidden, who is entering his fourth season on staff, is now coaching our wide receivers," said Silverfield.
