Memphis Falls to Indiana State, 7-3

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team lost 7-3 on Saturday to Indiana State at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field. The Sycamores have taken the first two games in the series ahead of tomorrow's 1 p.m. finale.

Memphis dropped its fifth-straight game and moved to 8-7 on the season while the Sycamores improved to 6-8 and have now won four-straight games.

"I thought we had more quality at-bats today than we did last night and made some adjustments offensively and became tougher outs," head coach Kerrick Jackson said. "That four spot in the second inning is ultimately what costed us, we just couldn't come back from that and made some mistakes on the bases.
