MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis men's soccer team fell to SMU on Friday night by a 3-0 score.
After falling behind in the first half, the Tigers were unable to find momentum, surrendering more offense to the Mustangs in the second.
SMU started the offense early in the match, taking several shots through the early going in the first half. Emil Cuello opened the scoring, netting one in the 14th minute.
Both teams struggled to find chances in the remainder of the first half. Memphis had its best chance in the final few minutes, taking a pair of shots as the clock ticked away.
