PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – No. 22 Memphis women's soccer posted its 11th shutout of the season after a 1-0 victory against Temple on a windy Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia.
"It was a tough one, to say the least. The conditions weren't ideal with winds at 20 miles per hour and playing on turf," head coach Brooks Monaghan said. "It wasn't our normal style of soccer. I think it's a sign of a good team when you have to get those ugly wins. The girls adapted to the conditions and did what they needed to do.
