MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team has been honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association for posting a team grade point average of 3.24 during the 2016-17 academic year.
The Tigers are one of 40 Division I baseball teams to receive the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award in 2017 and are among 154 teams across all divisions.
In all, 26 Memphis players posted a GPA higher than 3.0 during the 2017 season.
