MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis Athletics received a $2.4 million commitment that will support the department's Time to Shine campaign, men's and women's golf and student-athletes' medical wellness, athletic director Tom Bowen announced Thursday.
The anonymous gift is the third-largest commitment in Memphis Athletics history, with the two previous largest occurring during the Time to Shine campaign.
"We are incredibly grateful for this transformative gift that will support multiple sports programs and overall student-athlete welfare," said Bowen. "I am confident that this leadership gift will inspire others to give in similar ways to support our student-athletes.
