MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Collegiate sporting events came to a halt in the spring of 2020, but University of Memphis' student-athletes continued to perform at a record-setting level in the classroom this semester, according to numbers the Center for Athletic Academic Services (CAAS) released Thursday.
UofM athletics set 15 semester grade-point average (GPA) records, including an overall department-best 3.52 GPA. It is the 14thconsecutive term Memphis athletics posted a 3.0 GPA or higher, and all 17 programs recorded a 3.0 GPA or higher.
