MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis head men's golf coach Blake Smart announced the signing of Diego Lourenco on Monday. Lourenco will begin competing for the Tigers in the 2023-24 season.
"Diego is an exciting get for us and will provide immediate depth to our lineup," Smart said. "He brings a strong resume with him, highlighted by his ability to win golf tournaments."
Ranked No. 743 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, Lourenco is a member of the U-18 French Boys team. He's won three Elite Grand Prix competitions in the four he's played in this season and is ranked the No.
