Memphis was able to put a poor first half behind them to earn a 1-1 draw against Dartmouth Sunday at Vanderbilt's Soccer/Lacrosse Complex in Nashville. The Tigers (2-1-1) played a strong second half and two overtime periods with far more chances than the Big Green but were unable to score a game-winner.
"The first half was the worst soccer we've played since I've been the coach here. We were extremely lethargic and it was disappointing. When the whistle blew we weren't ready to play and it showed," Memphis head coach Brooks Monaghan said. "At halftime, tactics were not talked about.
