IRVING, Texas. – University of Memphis' DeeNia McMiller has been selected as the 2022 American Women's Indoor Field Most Outstanding Performance award winner, the league announced Thursday.
The four awards for both men's and women's track and field are presented to the athletes who finished with the highest rankings on the NCAA performance list during the American Indoor Track & Field Championships this season.
McMiller, a graduate student from Kansas City, Mo., recorded a top weight throw mark of 24.08m last weekend, which shattered meet records and reset her own school record.
