MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In the eighth week of the American Athletic Conference awards list, two Tigers were recognized for helping the Tigers to a 1-0-1 week.
Senior was named the AAC Defensive Player of the Week, while junior was named to the Weekly Honor Roll.
Mallin registered a pair of assists in Memphis' 3-0 win at Cincinnati on Thursday. With her two helpers, Mallin has 26 assists in her career, which ranks fourth all-time in program history. Additionally, the senior helped a Memphis backline to its 11th shutout of the year against the Bearcats.
Monday's accolade marks her third Defensive Player of the Week nod and fifth of her career.
