MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis Tigers M Club Hall of Fame member Alex Moore passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Moore was inducted into the M Club Hall of Fame in 1988.
Moore lettered as a football lineman for the Tigers from 1950-52 playing under head coach Ralph Hatley. The Somerville, Tenn., native worked on both the offensive and defensive lines for the Tigers, and as a sophomore helped his team to a 9-2-0 record. He opened the season at right guard and worked with All-American Calvin Allen learning his trade.
