MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Freshman midfielder Luke Biasi has been named the American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week after scoring his first collegiate goal and tallying his first collegiate assist in the victory over Missouri State Sunday afternoon. Biasi is the first Tiger recognized this season by the AAC.
Biasi's goal in the 82nd minute was the game-tying goal against Missouri State. He then was credited with an assist on Charles Blankenship's game-winning goal in the 88th minute, leading the Tigers to a 2-1 victory over the Bears.
