MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis softball player Lindsay Crowdus has been named a College Sports Madness Third-Team All-American Wednesday after her record-setting senior season in 2017. Crowdus was also coined the AAC Co-Player of the Year, marking a first for the Memphis program.
Crowdus' stellar season ended with a school record .451 batting average with a team-high 83 hits, nine triples, 30 RBI and 33 stolen bases. She is the first player in school history to hit over .400 and record over 70 hits. She leaves Memphis as the career batting average leader at .
