MEMPHIS – Landan Salem has been named the Director of Recruiting Operations for the Memphis football team by head coach Ryan Silverfield. Salem spent the last two seasons at Syracuse University. At Syracuse, he served as the Director of Player Personnel, working closely with the Orange's recruiting department.
Before his time in the ACC with Syracuse, Salem was at Florida Atlantic. There, he was the program's pro liaison and director of player personnel in 2017. FAU went 11-3 that season, winning the C-USA championship and a Boca Raton Bowl title.
A 2014 graduate of Illinois, Salem served internships with the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League in 2011 and with the operations department with the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL in 2013.
