MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following an impressive stat line in the team's win over Temple on Saturday afternoon, Emani Jefferson has been named to the American Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll.
Jefferson, a junior out of Miami, Fla., scored 12 points for the Tigers while shooting 4-6 from the field and grabbing seven rebounds. Jefferson would also record a career-high seven assists while making three massive blocks against the Owls.
This is the first AAC Weekly Award for Jefferson this season and the fourth for her career.
