MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis track and field athlete will travel to Eugene, Ore., this week to compete in the 2021 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Jaidi qualified for the championships with her 50.86m (166-10) javelin throw at the NCAA East Regionals at the end of May. Jaidi has performed well in the event all season, with multiple top-three performances, including a first-place finish at the American Athletic Conference Championships (54.65m, 179-3.0).
Aside from recording several top performances, Jaidi finished off her strong regular season by earning the conference honor of 2021 Women's Most Outstanding Field Performance award.
