MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Tiger head baseball coach Kerrick Jackson has rounded out his first full-time coaching staff with Julian Henson and Ryan Huber as assistant coaches. Henson and Huber join Tim Jamieson, who was announced as Jackson's pitching coach in June.
Henson, a native of Cordova, Tenn., comes to Memphis with an extensive background in playing and coaching. Henson strung together a successful career at Cordova High School where he was named All-District 14AAA and named to the All-District Tournament Team, selected to the Commercial Appeal's All-Metro Team, earned All-State honors in his junior and senior campaigns and was selected as a "Best of the Preps" finalist for two years.
