KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – University of Memphis junior tied the College of Charleston's Christian Baliker for medalist honors with a three-day total of 7-under 209 to help the Tigers to a second-place finish in the East Bay Deli Classic Tuesday.
Jackson led after each of the event's three rounds, beginning with a 6-under 66 and following with a 73 and a 70 to give the UofM its first medalist of the fall season. Overall, the Tigers finished at even-par 864 after closing with a 5-under 283 Tuesday. They finished three strokes behind champion Charleston, ranked 44 nationally.
