MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Tigers catcher Hunter Goodman has been named to the AAC All-Conference First Team. The preseason AAC Player of the year, Goodman was the lone Tigers' representative to earn AAC postseason honors.
Highly touted entering the 2021 season as a preseason All-American by numerous media outlets, Goodman's 2021 regular season didn't disappoint. The sophomore led the conference with 21 home runs, which tied a program record for home runs in a single season. Goodman led the conference in SLG % (.694), while his .311 batting average was 11th best in the conference.
