Highland Hundred Honors Football at Annual Banquet

MEMPHIS – The Highland Hundred honored the University of Memphis football team at its yearly banquet, Sunday, at the Hilton in East Memphis.

Members of the senior class grabbed seven of the 13 awards handed out. received the DeAngelo Williams Most Valuable Player Award while Riley Fergson grabbed the Isaac Bruce Offensive Player of the Year honor. won his second straight John Bramlett Defensive Player of the Year honor while defensive teammate was named the Most Improved Defensive Player. Seniors and were named co-recipients of the True Tiger Award.

The evening began with four awards for scout team players, student-athletes who helped prep the Tigers each week throughout the course of the season.
