Henderson Named Memphis’ First Unanimous All-American

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis junior running back Darrell Henderson was unanimously selected to the NCAA Consensus All-America team, becoming the first unanimous selection in program history. Henderson joins wide receiver Anthony Miller (2017), punter Tom Hornsey (2013) and placekicker Joe Allison (1992) as Memphis' only Consensus All-Americans.

The Batesville, Miss., product received first-team All-America honors from the five outlets that comprise the NCAA Consensus All-America team: American Football Coaches Association, Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, Sporting News and Walter Camp.

Henderson also picked up All-America nods from Bleacher Report, CBS Sports, ESPN, Sports Illustrated and USA Today.
