MEMPHIS -- Austin Hall added a national award to his bio on Tuesday as he was named the Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week. Hall helped Memphis upset No. 24/25 ranked Navy with 10 tackles, two interceptions, one pass breakup and a fumble recovery on Saturday. He was named the American Athletic Conference's Defensive Player of the Week, Monday.
On the season, the sophomore from Collierville leads Memphis with 44 total tackles, including 4.5 tackles for loss. His three interceptions is tied for the team lead with freshman defensive back TJ Carter.
