MEMPHIS – Redshirt freshman was named the College Sports Madness American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, Sunday.
Hall helped his Tiger team to a 24-14 road win at West Division foe Tulane, Friday, posting a career-high 12 tackles in the game, including three tackles for loss. Hall also recovered an on-side kick and recovered a fumble in the win.
Hall, a graduate of Collierville High School, has started all six games for Memphis this season and is currently second on the team with 36 tackles, including six tackles for loss. He is part of a Memphis defense that currently ranks first in the country in turnovers gained (18) and ranks 39 in the country in rushing defense (140.
