PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Freshman guard Madison Griggs and junior forward Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu were named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll Monday afternoon for their efforts in leading Memphis to victories over Little Rock and Mississippi Valley State this week.
This is the second time in both of their careers that they have earned recognition by The American.
Griggs tied her own school record with eight made three-pointers in Memphis' win over Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 20. In the fourth quarter alone, Griggs strung together five consecutive three-pointers to help propel Memphis to the commanding victory.
