MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After another standout weekend for Memphis baseball freshman , the rookie landed a spot on The American's Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Goodman hit .538 (7-for-13) in the Tigers' three-game set at UConn last weekend. He also plated three runs and tallied four RBI in the series.
A 4-for-5 day from the Arlington, Tenn., native helped propel the Tigers to a 7-1 victory on Saturday against the Huskies. Goodman also connected on his fifth homer of the season on Saturday, all of which have come in the last 10 games.
