MEMPHIS – Senior Emily Goldenstein fired a second round 70 to move in to a tie in the top 10 at the UCF Challenge at Eagle Creek Golf Club, Monday. With her -2 second round score, Goldenstein jumped 24 spots in the individual standing and is now just three strokes out of a top five spot in the challenging collegiate field.
Starting on hole seven, Goldenstein birdied four of her first seven holes for a quick start to the morning. She would birdie twice in her final nine holes, offsetting two bogeys, and closed the day -2, one of seven players to shoot 70 or under in the 90-player field.
