MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis left-handed pitcher Dalton Fowler was named the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Pitcher of the Week for his performance on April 7 against Cincinnati, the conference announced Monday. In addition, Anthony Hansen earned his second AAC Weekly Honor Roll nod of the season.
Six Tigers have earned conference honors this season. Fowler (twice), Hansen (twice), Dalton Kendrick (twice), Logan Kohler, Brayland Skinner and JT Durham.
Over the weekend, Fowler started in Friday's 6-2 win over Cincinnati and was lights out over seven shutout innings of work, retiring the first 11 Bearcats he faced.
