Fourth Quarter Comeback Falls Short As Tulsa Downs Tigers In Quarterfinals

UNCASVILLE, Conn. – The University of Memphis women's basketball team suffered a 60-55 setback to Tulsa Friday night in the American Athletic Conference Championship Quarterfinals. Down as many as 14 in the second quarter, Memphis rallied to tie up the contest with less than five minutes to play. The Tigers end the 2016-17 season with a 14-16 overall record.

How It Happened
The Tigers struggled to get the ball rolling offensively, being held scoreless through the first seven minutes of the contest. Defensively, however, Memphis kept Tulsa within reach as the Golden Hurricane had a 12-4 first quarter lead.
