Former Tiger Michael 'Wild Thing' Wilson honored by Harlem Globetrotters

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Former University of Memphis basketball player Michael `Wild Thing' Wilson, known for his uncommon leaping ability while playing for the Tigers, will be among three former Harlem Globetrotters honored during upcoming stops on the Globetrotters' 2019 tour.

Wilson will join fellow honorees Matt `Showbiz' Jackson and Osborne `Goose' Lockhart receiving Globetrotters Legend rings. Wilson, who played for the Tigers from 199x to '9x, will be presented his ring at the team's show Jan. 18 at FedExForum.

The Legends ring is presented to retired Globetrotters who have made a major contribution to the success and development of the Hall of Fame organization.
