Former Tiger Ellen Roberts Signs With NPF’s Chicago Bandits

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Former University of Memphis softball pitcher Ellen Roberts has signed with the Chicago Bandits, a National Pro Fastpitch team, on Monday. Roberts, along with three additional Australian athletes, has officially signed a one-year contract with the Bandits.

Roberts is the first player under head coach Natalie Poole to have signed a contract with the NPF.

"I am very proud of Ellen and am excited for her opportunity to compete in the U.S. again, and on a national stage," said Poole. "She was a great contributor on the mound for us, and has competed extremely well for her home country.
