BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – After the Memphis football players and staff reconvened in Birmingham on Saturday following the holiday break, the team took to the field at Krulak Stadium on the campus of Birmingham-Southern College, Sunday morning, to continue bowl preparations for the Dec. 30th Birmingham Bowl game.
"We were a little rusty," Interim Head Coach Darrell Dickey said. "It was obvious everybody had a good Christmas, but we did have a good workout as far as energy and effort are concerned. We were just not as sharp as we normally are, but that's to be expected.
