COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sophomore women's golfer Michaela Fletcher shaved six strokes off her first round score and jumped 15 spots in the individual standings in the second round of the NCAA Columbus Regional, Tuesday. She will start her third round on Wednesday tied for 37th overall at 154 through 36 holes.
After starting on 10, Fletcher bogeyed two of her first four holes, then settled in and carded par on her next 10 holes before a birdie on four dropped her to one over. She stayed there until her final hole, bogeying nine to hit the clubhouse with a second round 74 (+2).
