COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sophomore Michaela Fletcher carded a first round 80 (+8) in the first round of play at the NCAA Columbus Regional in chilly and windy conditions that forced a frost delay to start the morning. She is currently tied for 52nd following the first round.
Fletcher bogeyed her first two holes and hit the turn at four over. She then bogeyed four more holes on the back side, where she will start her second round on Tuesday. She will tee off of 10 at 8:15 am (ET), Tuesday while playing with fellow individual qualifiers, Kate Smith of Nebraska and Emie Peronnin of Minnesota.
