TULSA, Okla. – Five Memphis women's tennis student-athletes competed in the Pre-Qualifying singles draw of the ITA All-American Championships this weekend, hosted by the University of Tulsa.
Despite dropping four of the five first-round contests, , , , and represented the Tigers and gained experience on the national stage in the annual nine-day tournament.
"Coach (Hayden) Perez and I are extremely proud we gained five entries into the prestigious ITA All-American Tournament. That speaks to the depth of our program right now," associate head coach said. "We unfortunately got off to a few slow starts and couldn't overcome them.
