BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Capping the Samford Round Robin, the Memphis women's tennis team tallied five wins on Sunday, as five Tigers claimed singles and doubles line titles.
Memphis notched three victories in doubles and then closed the invitational with three wins in singles action. Sophomore was named the singles champion for Line 6, while duos and along with and were named Line 2 and Line 3 doubles champions.
"Today we won three of four doubles and I was excited about that. We faced some tough competition and handled some situations well," head coach said. "The singles effort was not what I was hoping for, but there were some bright spots for sure.
