MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis women's soccer team will have the first opportunity to test itself against another opponent, when it faces Mississippi State Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Starkville in the first preseason match for both teams. The Tigers will have a quick turnaround, as they will then head to Nashville to face Lipscomb in the team's final exhibition match on Friday, August 12 at 6 p.m.
"There's definitely not a lack of talent on this team. Now it's about putting all of those pieces together," Memphis head coach Brooks Monaghan said. "Right now we are at a point where we are trying to find out what the best position for some of these players is.
